Advantages to Becoming
a Member of the Huronia Foundation for the Arts
1. An ad in the new Huronia Arts Directory costs significantly less
for HFA members than for non-members. This alone could more
than pay for your membership.
2. Members will be eligible for free or discounted participation in
HFA events, shows and exhibitions.
3. Your membership card will offer discounts and privileges, for example:
special offers and reduced pricing at local shops and suppliers.
4. Members will receive a prominent web presence. As a member, you'll
be represented on the HFA database and website. Make it easy for your
customers to find you. The Foundation's website will provide
up-to-date, active links to members' websites and e-mail addresses.
You can even have your own website.
5. Promote your own events and products to our membership through
our communications outlets - website, newsletter and press releases.
6. Receive information and news about upcoming artistic and cultural
events in our region through our regular newsletter. As a member
of the the Huronia Foundation for the Arts, you'll be kept abreast
of cultural and heritage workshops, seminars and festivals.
7. Receive assistance from the Foundation for your events and career
advancement - promotion, marketing, volunteers, contacts. Let
us know how we can help with your events.
8. Be part of a growing, integrated, living arts awareness in Huronia.
As a member of the HFA you will feel satisfaction in knowing you are
supporting your artistic community and boosting the economy of the
Huronia region.
9. As an HFA member, you can be part of the development and creation
of the new Arts Centre in Huronia.
Categories of Membership
Student
- Individual with an up-to-date full-time student card.
$10.00
Senior - entitled
to one vote per membership.
$20.00
Artist - Individual
practising arts disciplines - music, dance, visual arts, theatre,
etc. Can be either professional or hobbyist - entitled to one
vote per membership.
$25.00
General - Individual
patron and supporter of the arts - entitled to one vote per
membership.
$30.00
Lifetime - Individual
patron and supporter of the arts - entitled to one vote annually
per membership.
$1,200.00
Additional family
members can be added to the above memberships for a
fee of $5.00 per year, per additional member.
Organization -
Any arts, cultural or heritage group. Can also include sports,
political, ecology or other interest group. Entitled to three
memberships/votes.
$50.00
Corporate - A company
or commercial business. Entitled to ten memberships/votes.
