2nd Annual Arts and Culture Directory Underway

MIDLAND – The Huronia Foundation for the Arts is launching its 2nd Directory on the heels of a successful distribution of its first Arts and Culture Directory.

“The feedback from last year indicates that people were keeping the directory as a work of art which means that they also keep the colourful ads and information on the businesses that support the arts.” says Pat Robinson, Manager of the Huronia Foundation for the Arts (HFA). “Our first directory was designed artistically, illustrating the HFA’s beginnings symbolically and inspirationally in Nature, the nature that we all enjoy in Huronia.”

Ms. Robinson went on to say, “The 2010 directory will have a new feature this year: a special Dining section, and even more information about what is happening in the region. It is evident that the new directory will be equally as creative, celebrating the arts that we support.”

There is a minimum of 25,000 copies being printed of which 20,000 will be distributed to every business and residence in Huronia. Local businesses, galleries and the Huronia Tourism Association will distribute another 5,000 copies in kiosks and locations beyond this area. The directory will be distributed in mid May.

For further information please contact Marianne Braid at (705) 756-2884 or hhps1@csolve.net
