The HFA receives many requests for assistance from its members
and other individuals in the arts community.
We have recently set up a program for artists and arts groups
in the Huronia region whose projects provide an improvement
to the local arts scene. The program gives these groups
and individuals a chance to request funding and volunteer assistance
for their events. In return we would like an opportunity
to promote the HFA at your event so that we might reach a broader
range of prospective members. Working together, we can
make the arts a priority in our area.
Guidelines
Applications will be decided upon merit.
Priority will be given to applications and projects that
satisfy the following:
• Project does not conflict with other offerings
in the area.
• Project provides a definite improvement
to the arts offerings and / or infrastructure of Huronia.
• Project is led by and engages multiple members
of the arts community, other than the HFA.
• Project is likely to be completed.
• The applicants must complete the request
form, “Application
for Sponsorship or Grant” and send
it to the HFA office at P.O. Box 307, Midland, ON L4R
4L1
• The HFA
office will acknowledge the receipt of the application.
The Sponsorship Review Committee will meet quarterly after the deadlines, Jan 10, Apr 10, July 10 & Oct 10. 2010, to
decide on whether the request should be acceptedor rejected.
• Once decided, the Sponsorship Review
Committee will contact the applicant in writing.
If the application is accepted, a contact point will be
provided.
