Aug. 8th, 2 pm to 6 pm	Photography Workshops Wye Marsh has partnered with David Hemming to run a series of workshops on Photography. David is a world-renowned bird photographer who is known throughout the nature photography world for creating some of the most dynamic and impressive bird-in-flight images anywhere today. His work has been published on the cover of National Geographic and has also appeared on the cover of numerous nature photography publications. David was a major contributor to a recent book project entitled “On Feathered Wings”. David’s work has been exhibited at the American Museum of Natural History Ornithology Department in New York City. David enjoys sharing his talents with many others through teaching photography workshops. Photography 101: Requires a digital SLR camera with interchangeable lenses, maximum of 20 participants. Jun. 26 - 29 9:30am - 4:30pm	Theatre Ontario Youth Scene Study Programme Youth Intensive Scene Study 4 days of rigorous textual analysis and acting Participants learn how to delve deeply into a script to find the nuances of character and relationship, and learn to interpret scripts by exploring acting techniques to support the text and by developing the actors’ tools to increase communication, imagination, physical awareness and listening skills. 2 evenings a week in July and August.	The Huronia Players are introducing a new program for both young actors and theatre techies in the Midland area to improve their skills and enjoy the summer. Some of the Huronia Players’ most experienced adult actors and directors, including Sue Cook, Doug Ironside and Ron Payne, will be leading workshop sessions. This is a rather unique program in three specific areas: 1. It targets an age group often overlooked, the 16 yrs – 22 yr group. 2. Classes are in the evenings so students working can schedule the classes in around their other responsibilities. 3. Instruction will include various technical aspects of stage show production, such as light and sound, in addition to pure acting. ‘This program is an excellent compliment to our proven Youth Academy of past seasons, and offers a stepping stone opportunity for young adults to blend into the adult company for our upcoming fall and winter season” explains Huronia Players President Susan Cook. Coaches and actors will decide what the outcome of the summer will be - skits, or one act plays, or improv, or who knows what else. Sessions will be 2 evenings a week in July and August.
