Come join us for a fun-filled day celebrating Winterfest and the local arts scene.

The Huronia Foundation for the Arts invites members to participate during the Town of Midland’s 27th Annual Winterfest.

We will be hosting an art show and sale at the Huronia Museum on Saturday, February 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At a cost of $10 for wall and/or table display, artists in all genres are invited to showcase their work during the event, which will also include theatrical readings, culinary displays and musical guests as well as French Canadian pea soup and bread being served.

We are accepting application from Artist Studios in the Oro Medonte and surrounding townships with studios that are in the Orillia - Coldwater - Moonstone / Mt St. Louis - Barrie area.

Guest artist applications are open to all artists outside the mentioned regions.

If you paint, sing, dance or are otherwise artistically inclined, David Hill wants to hear from you.

As the incoming Huronia Foundation for the Arts (HFA) chair, Hill wants to foster a greater relationship between artists from across the region.

“We want to bring together artists from all disciplines and create activities in our community,” said Hill, who joined the board last year and was very involved with the group’s annual members’ directory.
